Ever since this year’s Paris Fashion Week, I’ve been so keen on denim, chambray and those beautiful 1970s colour tones. You know the ones I’m talking about- those beautiful rust browns, golds, and oranges. The ultimate retro sunset.
I know this outfit doesn’t exactly scream 1970s wild child, but it’s my interpretation of the revival trend (although I am on the lookout for a faux fur cropped jacket to complete this ensemble!). I also consciously decided not to wear any jewelry aside from one tiny ring in order to enhance the simple lines and carefree nature of the ensemble- a look which felt so foreign to this statement necklace loving girl!
I was lucky enough to visit the Art Gallery of Hamilton for this beautiful shoot and have to thank my wonderful friend Katherine at www.primandpattern.com for suggesting it and photographing it! Honestly, this is one of my favourite shoots so far and I’m so lucky to have such a talented friend lending me her know-how and skills!
Until next time,
